TRAVEL PHOTO DIARY : MADINAH AND MAKKAH | UMRAH DECEMBER 2014

Quba’ Mosque, the first mosque built by the Prophet SAW

Outside the An-Nabawi Mosque just before Maghrib

Visiting Mount Uhud and the place where the martyrs lay.

The green dome is the original dome and everything under it was the compound of the An-Nabawi Mosque when the Prophet was still alive. The An-Nabawi Mosque has expanded and will continue to expand since then.

The Abraj Al-Bait Tower in Makkah, we stayed in one of the hotels in this tower. I like to call it the Loki Tower.

At the Arafah where Adam and Eve were reunited.

The kaabah and the blue sky. Allahuakbar.

Outside Masjidil Haram, we visited the Prophet’s home which has been transformed into a library.

The best meal I’ve had in my entire life. I love Arab food.

Talk again soon,
Hani Lutfi
