I attended a faculty dinner last night – something I’ve been waiting for years to happen. If you don’t see me at school, you won’t know this but I am such a lazy person every day. I go to school wearing baju kurung or baggy clothes, I wear the same shoes every day and I wear only one layer of foundation. I don’t put any effort into my looks, I never try to look semi-presentable. Basically, I think I always look a tiny bit homeless. But a faculty dinner is the only place people can see me all dressed up and made up for a few hours.
I don’t wear a lot of make-up on a daily basis. I have very little make-up in possession because of that so I was very excited to finally put my smoky eye skills to the test. I’ve watched too many beauty videos on Youtube throughout the years to not know how to do my own make-up.
I was going for a very pink-ish brown gold look with a subtle pink shadow in the crease, gold pigments on the center of my lids and some darker brown shades to smoke things out in the outer corner. I’m very happy with the outcome, too bad you can’t really see much of the handwork I took so many selfies on Snapchat you have no idea.
(Face : Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pure Oil-free Smoothing face primer, NARS All Day Skin Luminous Weightless foundation, NARS Radiant Creamy concealer, Eyes : Tony Moly Eyetone Matte eyeshadows in M06, M07, M08, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold, MAC Limited Edition Extra Dimension blush in Sea Me Hear Me, Benefit They’re Real Push-Up Liner, Tony Moly Perfect Eyes Pro Curling Mascara, Cheeks : Topshop Lip & Cheek Stain in Bitten Berry, MAC Limited Edition Extra Dimension blush in Sea Me Hear Me, , Lips : MAC Craving)
The very sole reason for my attendance was so I can receive my Dean’s List award. I thought I was taking home two certificates but I only got one so I’m curious on what happened with the other one because I’ve been waiting for a year.
Average food, average venue, great company.
