PURE9 JUICES HI-JUICE PARTY

Yesterday, I was at Earthlings Coffee Workshop HQ to attend my first ever hi-juice party with Pure9 Juices. A hi-juice party is simply a hi-tea, only with juice, instead of tea. I’ve never tried anything from Pure9 Juices before, despite seeing them around on shelves all around Kuching so this party was the perfect opportunity for me to get my juicing game on!

Pure9 Juices are cold-pressed juices made from the best fruits, vegetables and ingredients to give you the best nutrition you would need. They have 26 types of juices within 7 different series, namely Au Naturale, Anti-oxidant, Cleansing, Detox, Wellness, Beauty and Energy. At the party, I tried close to 20 types of juices. I had so much juice, tasted so much flavour, it was overwhelming and fun at the same time! I personally love juices even though it’s not a lifestyle I’ve totally adapted to.

The Au Naturale juices are said to be the easiest to drink, especially for beginners because most of the juices are made from simple fruits and flavours while the Detox juices are the most difficult to drink. Luckily, I love a hard kick in my juices so I handled the Detox juices very well. My favourites are D-Green, Enchanted and Beet It Up. D-Green tastes super super green with spinach, kale, green apple, celery, cucumber and lemon. Enchanted is more sweet with green apple, green pear and kiwi while Beet It Up has beetroot, carrot, green pears and apples, coconut and lemon. My favourite juices in general are green and red juices so it’s clear why these are my favourites! I think the Pure9 juices are the perfect match or contender to La Juiceria, a Kuala Lumpur based cold-pressed juice brand.

At the event, Pure9 Juices launched their 8th juice series, the Almond Mylk series. I’ve heard almond mylk many times before but I’ve always missed the opportunity to try one. Since I have acne problems, I should be cutting my dairy intake to give my hormones some balance, since dairy products contain quite a bit of hormones in them. So, any plant-based mylk, or in this case, almond mylk is the perfect way to nourish my body while cutting down my dairy intake. Since it’s dairy-free, it’s also great for people who are lactose intolerant. In this series, they have 4 different flavours which are vanilla, espresso, chocolate and beetroot.

These almond mylks are the only products by Pure9 juices with water and other high quality ingredients in them, just to give it a bit more flavour. My favourite of the four is of course, chocolate, dairy-free and guilt-free!

I had so much fun at the party! I had so much food, so much juice, the venue was great and the people at the party were even greater! I really hope to not just try more of the Pure9 Juices but go back to Earthlings Coffee Workshop HQ! It’s a beautiful place, I need to go back to try out the coffee!
