Some of you don’t know this but I’ve recently switched from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to an iPhone 6S and there are a few things that an Android device does not have that an iOS has and one of those things is podcasts. I’ve always been drawn to the idea of listening to forums, talks, discussions but I’ve never had the chance to actually listen to them because I owned an Android device. I did have a Muslim Central Audio app but the app didn’t work very well. So, as soon as I got my iPhone 6S, I went ahead and started listening to podcasts.
I love music, I am almost always on Spotify but sometimes, music can get a little bit much. Especially when you’re working, you don’t really want that much noise in your ears but you may not want total silence as well. So, I think podcasts are great for those circumstances. Just the other day, I was listening to a podcast called Ctrl Alt Delete by Emma Gannon. Emma interviews many people who have made a lot of success online and one of those people is Zoe Sugg AKA Zoella. I listened to that podcast and it was so liberating, so inspiring, so motivating and it made me feel so good about myself, about life and it just made me feel good and fuzzy on the inside, which is never a bad thing.
If you haven’t gotten yourself into the podcast hype yet, you should because it is a great way to relax, get inspired and it’s another form of media, basically. I love reading blogs and watching Youtube videos to get inspired and take a look into another person’s perspective and outlook, and now I can include listening to podcasts into the list.
PS. If you would like to know how it’s like to switch from Samsung to iPhone, just holler because I would be more than willing to make a post on that. Or, the postpaid contract I signed with this iPhone, why I chose it etc.
