SO I DROPPED MY PHONE

Yesterday, I was attentively searching through Twitter, to see if someone has received any news from Yayasan Peneraju yet. I was holding my phone then all of a sudden it slipped from my hands and landed on the floor. The floor wasn’t carpeted, my phone didn’t have a case on. As soon as I picked it up, I saw cracks but I couldn’t tell if it was my screen protector or the screen itself. So, I took off the screen protector and lo and behold, the screen was smashed. I let out a loud welp for a minute then went straight to my laptop to look for ways to fix it.

I know what you’re going to say, “Why didn’t you have a case on?”. I took it off for a bit because it was too big. I obviously took it for granted and now I regret it. I will never take off my phone case again!

I went to Switch to see if I can have my screen replaced with my warranty. I’ve seen it happen a lot with Youtubers (in the UK and US) so I thought it was possible but they told me that they cannot replace it for me under the warranty, and it would cost me around RM1300! How crazy! Add another RM1300 and I can get a brand new iPhone 6S instead!

I searched high and low for someone who can replace it for me for a cheaper price but the cheapest I could find is RM680, which is an okay price considering that it’s more than RM600 cheaper than Switch! I posted a photo of my phone on my Instagram story so if you want to see it, you can see it there. I’m so frustrated that it’s smashed but I guess that’s in the past now. I need to get it replaced quickly because I can’t stand looking at my impaired screen. I promise to keep you updated.

Talk again soon,
Hani Lutfi
